About Traffic Jam
Traffic Jam is a free traffic control game set at a busy crossroads. Cars drive in from the left and from the bottom, and they all want the middle. Tap or click a car to make it wait at the line, then tap it again to send it on its way. Fans of traffic control games will know the drill: every car that gets safely across scores 1 point, and yellow taxis pay 5 points and a coin. A crash in the middle takes one of your 3 hearts. Every 12 cars, the roads get busier, with faster cars arriving more often. You only need a browser: no download, no microphone. Keep traffic flowing to earn a place in the world top 10.
How To Play Traffic Jam
Stop And Go
Tap a car to make it wait at the line. Tap it again to let it go.
Get Cars Across
Every car that makes it through the crossroads scores 1 point.
Wave Taxis Through
Yellow taxis are worth 5 points and a coin when they get across.
Avoid Crashes
A crash costs one of your 3 hearts, and traffic gets busier every 12 cars.
Traffic Jam Tips
Stop a car before it reaches the line. Once it is past, tapping won't stop it and it rolls on into the crossing. Waiting cars cost nothing, so hold one road completely while the other clears. Honking is just noise, not a penalty. Let yellow taxis go first. Each one is worth as much as 5 ordinary cars. Stopping the front car also holds every car behind it, so one tap can pause a whole lane. After each BUSIER sign, cars drive faster and arrive more often, so pick which road goes next before they reach the line.
Waiting cars cost nothing. Only crashes cost hearts.
