About Brick Smash
Brick Smash is a free brick breaker you play in your browser. Move the paddle with a tap, click, drag or the arrow keys to keep the ball bouncing into the bricks. Anyone who grew up with Breakout will know exactly what to do. Bricks are worth 10 points, tough two-hit bricks 20, and each level hides one golden brick worth 50 points and a coin. Clearing a wall earns 100 points times the level number. Some bricks drop power-ups: a wide paddle, two extra balls, a slower ball or a heart. You start with 3 hearts and lose one when your last ball slips past. Later levels add rows, tougher bricks and speed. Free, with no download and no microphone. Aim for the world top 10.
How To Play Brick Smash
Smash The Bricks
Bricks score 10 points, two-hit bricks 20 and the golden brick 50 plus a coin.
Move And Launch
Tap, click, drag or use Left and Right to move; tap or press Up to launch.
Catch Power-Ups
Falling capsules give a wide paddle, two extra balls, a slower ball or a heart.
Don't Drop The Ball
You lose a heart each time every ball falls past your paddle.
Brick Smash Tips
Hit the ball with the edge of the paddle to send it off at a sharp angle into the corners. The +2 capsule puts up to three balls in play, and you only lose a heart when the last one drops. Break a gap through the wall: a ball trapped above the bricks smashes lots of them on its own. Each level has one golden brick worth 50 points and a coin, so aim for it early. The ball speeds up with every brick you break, so a SLOW capsule is most useful late in a level.
Clearing a level pays 100 points times the level number.
