About Road Racer
Road Racer is a free car dodging game you play in your browser. Your red car races up a three-lane road. Tap or click either side of the screen, or use the arrow keys, to switch lanes. It is inspired by classic top-down arcade racers. Every car you pass scores 1 point, coins on the road add 1 point and gold coins add 5 points plus a coin. Bump into another car and you lose one of your 3 hearts, though a heart on the road can win one back. Every 15 seconds the road gets faster and the traffic heavier. No download, no microphone, just quick reactions. Race for a best score and a world top 10 place.
How To Play Road Racer
Pass The Cars
Every car you overtake without crashing scores 1 point.
Tap Left Or Right
Tap or click either side of the screen, or use the arrow keys, to change lanes.
Grab The Coins
Road coins add 1 point each, and gold coins add 5 points plus a coin.
Don't Crash
Each bump costs one of your 3 hearts, and the road speeds up every 15 seconds.
Road Racer Tips
Each row of traffic leaves at least one lane open, so look ahead for the gap, not the next car. Stay in the middle lane when you can: from there every lane is just one move away. Each tap moves you one lane, so tap twice quickly to cross from one side of the road to the other. After a bump you blink for about 1.4 seconds and cannot crash again, so use the moment to grab nearby coins. Lost a heart? About 15 to 25 seconds later a heart appears in an open lane, so steer into it.
