About Snail Race
Snail Race is a free tapping race where speed comes from your fingers. Line up against 3 rival snails and wait for READY, SET, GO. Then tap, click or hit Space, Enter or the Right arrow as fast as you can. The faster you tap, the faster your snail slides to the finish line. It is button mashing in the spirit of Track & Field, spread over 5 races. First place scores 10 points and a coin, second 6, third 3 and fourth 1. Rivals get quicker every race, so the last ones are the toughest. All it needs is a browser, with no download and no microphone. Can you sweep all 5 races for 50 points and a place in the world top 10?
How To Play Snail Race
Wait For Go
Each race opens with READY, SET, GO, and taps before GO do not count.

Tap, click or press Space, Enter or Right to speed up the snail marked YOU.
Finish First
First place pays 10 points and a coin, second 6, third 3 and fourth 1.
Outrun Faster Rivals
The 3 rival snails get quicker every race, and the game ends after race 5.
Snail Race Tips
Taps beyond 14 a second are ignored, so aim for a fast, steady rhythm instead of wild mashing. Your speed comes from your taps in the last second, so keep tapping until your snail is over the line. On a keyboard, alternate Space and Enter with two hands, since holding a key down only counts as one tap. Second place still pays 6 points, so never give up on a race even when a rival pulls ahead. A clean sweep of all 5 races scores the maximum 50 points, with a coin for every win.
Taps beyond 14 a second do not count, so stay steady.
