You are the waiter in a small British cafe. Guests sit down and order in English, you relay the order to the chef by speaking or typing, carry the tray to the table and say the total when they ask for the bill. Polite phrasing earns chef hearts and faster cooking, rudeness costs you. Keep the guests fed and the chef happy or the cafe closes.

Open the chat with the chef at the CHEF window. Say tray to collect a finished order.

Say a table number to go there: take the order, hear a request or bring the bill.

Three pounds thirty

When the bill is open, say the total to charge the guest.

Tips

Click a hungry guest, listen to the order, then click the CHEF window and tell the chef what they want. The i button shows the sentence to say. Polite words (could I, please, thank you) earn chef hearts. Rude orders cost hearts and the chef cooks slower. Short orders work too: "cappuccino, table two" is enough for the chef. When the tray appears on the pass, grab it fast: picking it up within 5 seconds earns a heart bonus. Guests ask for the bill about 30 seconds after eating. Say the total in pounds, for example "three pounds thirty". Two wrong totals and they storm out. Once you have earned five pounds, guests start asking for cutlery and condiments. Click the ! bubble, then the CUTLERY counter, pick the item and the table. Keep both meters above one star. If the chef loses her hearts she quits, and if the restaurant loses its stars the cafe dies.
