Hum Fu is a voice controlled kung fu game where your hum is your fighting style. A tiny hamster master stands alone on a lantern lit rooftop while raccoon bandits, speedy weasel ninjas and hulking boar bruisers close in from both sides. Hum a low note to strike left and a high note to strike right, then slide your hum between low and high to chain strikes back and forth. Only strike when a bandit is in range, because a wild swing leaves you open for a moment. Every hit builds your combo for bigger points, and catching a golden dumpling unleashes Hum Fury, making you invincible with double points for a few seconds. Three hits and you are out, so keep your ears open and your hum sharp.
Use a low pitch to strike left and a high pitch to strike right:
Low pitch
A low pitch strikes the closest bandit on the LEFT.
High pitch
A high pitch strikes the closest bandit on the RIGHT. Slide low and high to chain strikes.
Tips
Watch the pitch bar at the top: the needle shows which side your hum will strike. Wait until a bandit steps into range before you strike. A missed strike leaves you open for a moment. You do not need to stop humming between strikes. Slide from low to high to switch sides instantly. Boar bruisers take two hits, and weasel ninjas run twice as fast. Strike the golden dumpling to trigger Hum Fury for invincibility and double points. Every 10 hits in a row boosts your points multiplier.
Hum low to strike left, hum high to strike right, and never let the bandits reach you!
