Hotel Detective is a voice controlled guessing game where you hunt a mysterious scream by calling out room numbers. Somewhere in this hotel of 100 rooms hides the culprit. Say any number to open a room: a LOUD scream means you are close, a quiet one means far, and the hotel owner also tells you whether to try higher or lower. Every guess shrinks the search until you finally open the mystery room. Find it in as few rooms as possible to top the leaderboard, and enjoy some sneaky number speaking practice along the way.

Say any room number from 1 to 100 to open that door. The scream that follows tells you how close you are, and the owner hints higher or lower.

Some doors hide chatty characters who ask you a question. Answer Yes or No out loud to continue your investigation.
Tips
Say the room number clearly on its own, for example twenty seven, without extra words around it. Listen for both clues: the scream volume tells you the distance, and the owner tells you higher or lower. Split the remaining range in half with each guess to find the room in the fewest openings. The leaderboard counts rooms opened, so fewer guesses means a better score. If a character behind a door asks you something, just answer Yes or No to move the story along.
